Delivery and Pick Up Policy
Delivery and Pick Up Policy
Local Delivery Policy
Green Connect packs and delivers veg boxes every Wednesday. Deliveries will take place between 10.00am - 6pm.
New orders must be placed by 10am on Monday for delivery the same week. All orders placed after this time will receive their first veg box the following week.
The only exception to this is if a public holiday falls on a Wednesday, in which boxes will be delivered on the Wednesday after. In this case, orders must still be placed by 10am Monday.
If you live between Kiama and Coledale, we can deliver your box to the doorstep or your home or business. The delivery fee is $8.
Please refer to our postcode validator to determine if we deliver to your area. We currently deliver to most locations across the Illawarra, however not all suburbs are currently serviced.
Here are the postcodes we currently delivery to:
2500, 2502, 2505, 2506, 2515, 2516, 2517, 2518, 2519 ,2522, 2525, 2526, 2527, 2528, 2529, 2530
All customers will receive an SMS to the mobile number listed in their subscription account the day before with an estimated time period their box will be delivered. They will also receive an SMS when their box has been delivered to their home or pickup hub.
We can leave your box anywhere on your property that is accessible and safe for our drivers. We can also bring a veg box inside your apartment or office building if you can provide our delivery drivers with reliable access. Please tell us where you’d like your box left in the ‘Delivery Instructions’ field when you place your order or speak with the Fair Food Coordinator, and they will share these with our delivery drivers.
If no delivery instructions are provided, our driver will leave your box near your front door in the most protected and secure location available.
You do not need to be home for the delivery, however please note, once a box is delivered it is no longer the responsibility of Green Connect. We take every care to ensure boxes are left in a safe place, away from harsh weather conditions where possible.
If you keep a dog in your front yard, please ensure it is restrained or moved during your delivery window. If our drivers feel threatened, and are unable to deliver your veg box, they will bring your box back to our farm in Warrawong for collection.
Local Pick-up Policy
Our hubs are all local businesses with like-minded staff and aligned values.
New orders must be placed by 10am on Monday for delivery the same week. All orders placed after this time will receive their first veg box the following week.
We deliver to our local pick-up hubs every Wednesday. You can find all our collection hubs, with their address and collection times, here
Each hub has a specific pick-up time window. Final pick-up times at some hubs are a bit flexible, and others are strict. If you have questions, please speak with our Fair Food Coordinator at fairfood@green-connect.com.au.
Because specific delivery times vary from week-to-week, hub customers will get an SMS to confirm when their box has been delivered and is available for pick-up.
The details of how to pick up at each hub are a bit different. All hub customers will receive specific instructions for how to pick-up their box from their chosen pick-up hub in the ‘Welcome Email’ when they first sign up for their subscription.
If a public holiday falls on a Wednesday, then pick-up will take place on the Wednesday after the public holiday. Collection outside of these hours is at the customer's responsibility.
Green Connect and our partnering pick up hubs, are not responsible for any boxes left uncollected. Please check the pick up time for your chosen hub carefully.
